Your car is so cool! Hey, just to point out something funny, I think a BMW X7 gets better fuel economy than that IS.

I just got 23 in mine too! Usually in the 21s. $3.259 for premium

If my car got that economy there would have to be something seriously wrong.

That’s a number I see regula rl y in my auto I6 wagon, often less. Given that it’s one size bigger and therefore probably heavier that Toyota lump is either very thirsty or you drove it like a hooligan.

That’s about what I get in the 3, when I just drive around Greenville.

Our Sienna got 30.7mpg across Nevada into Idaho with a fill up in Wyoming. That’s a 4000lb minivan with 296hp getting almost 31mpg... who could be upset?! Regular was as cheap as $2.86 in the far reaches of Eastern Idaho too!

My G37x is averaging 24.4 mpg on the highway, which isn’t awful considering it’s AWD and a 3.7L V6, but the engine sits at 2.6k at 78mph, which with a 7-speed is way too high imo

This is my chief disappointment with the Scion tC, which has the same motor as your Camry: 180hp is nice, but not cracking 30 is not nice.

Yeah, I did like getting 30-32 easily with my old 2005 Corolla

We get 25 driving the Crosstour V6, but it does switch to I3 mode whenever we’re not driving it aggressively. I honestly can’t tell if the cyl deactivation is making a difference.

Meanwhile in LS400 land I’m averaging 17mpg on the same premium. IS300 gets 19 or so.

Thats not bad considering its the V6 compared to my 4 cylinder. Is your’s AWD? Also I’m jealous of the lift back. I could carry so much more stuff if mine was.

It’s not AWD, after living with AWD for a while I realized I really didn’t need it, and cut a couple of grand off the asking price of one.
